Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for auditing daily inventory reports. Perform order and truck audits to ensure accuracy. Develop customer relations. Identify problems through root cause analysis that impact inventory.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8 PM - 6 AM
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Audit any of the daily inventory reports; transits, lost sales, back stock audits, deleted locations, receipt exceptions, and out of stock.
  • Prepare defective merchandise for disposition which includes contacting vendors.
  • Preparing shipments for return to vendors.
  • Communicate with vendors and buyers, customers and customer service when a problem exists with merchandise.
  • Prepares manifest for salvage and schedules pick up.
  • Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must.
  • Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines.
  • Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and ability to create charts.
  • Good math and reading skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management.
  • Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player with a can do attitude.
  • Power Equipment certification a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
