What is an Internship Monopoly?

An Internship Monopoly refers to a situation where a single company, organization, or group dominates the availability of internship opportunities in a particular field or region. This dominance can limit competition, reduce diversity in internship experiences, and potentially lower the quality or variety of opportunities for students and recent graduates. Such monopolies can make it challenging for aspiring professionals to gain diverse experiences or negotiate for better internship conditions.
