Maintenance Mechanic

customers. In this hands-on position, Maintenance Mechanic involves inspecting, repairing, and
maintaining machinery and mechanical systems through preventive checks, troubleshooting faults, and
performing repairs or replacements to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime, requiring
skills in using hand/power tools, understanding mechanics/hydraulics, and adhering to strict safety
protocols. Key duties include routine servicing, diagnosing issues, fabricating parts, maintaining records,
and collaborating with teams, often requiring physical stamina in manufacturing or industrial
environments. You will operate and fix equipment, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety and
biosecurity guidelines. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are key.

Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and
diagnostics on motors, pumps, valves, and other equipment.
Repair & Installation: Repair broken components, install new machinery, and perform
emergency fixes.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using observation,
testing, and schematics.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Must become familiar with and adhere to all general plant and maintenance mechanic safety
policies, within the first 6 months of employment.
Must have a good work history and attendance record
Must have a good history of safe work practices
Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and be on call for plant emergencies as they
arise.
Must be able to work at heights of 40 to 60 feet.
Must pass M-4 maintenance test with a score of 80% or higher
