Job description

Position: Jr Demand Planner

Department: Demand Planning, Supply

Reports to: Demand Planning Associate Manager

Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid in office 3-days/week)


Job summary: The Demand Planner supports the demand planning process by assisting with forecasting, inventory monitoring, and production planning activities. This role partners closely with the Demand Planning Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong customer service levels. The position is ideal for an early-career professional seeking to build skills in forecasting and supply chain planning.


Essential job functions:

  • Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts for the assigned Categories using historical sales and order data
  • Support analysis of historical sales, trends, and promotions to inform forecast inputs
  • Incorporate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Product teams into demand plans
  • Support the process for the forecast on new products with analysis of previous similar products
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and training opportunities
  • Prepare inventory reports including availability, slow movers and closeouts
  • Assist in creating dashboards and planning reports for management review


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Comfortable working in Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis.
  • Basic understanding of demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Education & Experience:
