Job Description:
Position Summary:
Co-Op Teller will learn the skills necessary to perform financial transactions for members accurately, efficiently, and in a professional manner. The incumbent will promote Everwise Credit Union's products and services.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Maintains a high level of member service in accordance with the Everwise Credit Union's Service Expectations.
  • Performs member service functions with accuracy and in a timely manner. These functions include, but are not limited to, cash handling, and financial transactions. -
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality about member account information.
  • Proactively solve problems by demonstrating concern and empathy while seeking a solution that is in the best interest of the member and Everwise Credit Union.
  • Assists in outbound call efforts by reviewing, updating and calling on prospect lists, following up with members and calling on call campaigns regularly.
  • Participates in special projects and community events.
  • Comply with the credit union Check Cashing, Cash Control and Transaction Approval Limits policies. For example, Reg CC, SAR, CTR, Check handling, Reg D, BSA etc.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of Everwise.

**Will work after school and weekend hours.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to process transactions in an accurate manner.
  • Ability to follow written policy and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to lift to 15 pounds at times due to coin bags and boxes of rolled coin.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a High School COE/DECA/ICE or Work Study Program
