The Account Manager at Bailey Insurance & Risk Manager, Inc. is responsible for servicing a section of commercial lines accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Make sure all insurance policies are renewed for the commercial accounts you are handling.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and agency producers
  • Complete renewal applications as needed and work with underwriters in arranging the best renewal terms and conditions possible for our insureds.
  • Answer client questions, file claims, issue Certificates of Insurance as requested, and request policy endorsements as needed.
  • Demonstrate a true concern for helping our customers.
  • Check policies as they are received in the agency in order to make sure they are correct
  • Invoice all policies and prepare premium financing notes for those policies that are not direct bill and which the insured desires to finance.
  • Return all calls and emails promptly.

Qualifications
  • Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of FOUR years of commercial lines experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with AMS 360 is a big plus!
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively handle a commercial lines desk.
  • Have a sweet spirit so as to mesh with the amazingly kind and sweet people who work in the agency.
  • Be customer-focused, and professionally assertive in servicing existing clients.
  • Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and have Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
