The role of the field supervisor is to oversee all installation projects, functions, and components related to all install work. You will work directly with the company scheduler on making sure installation projects are set up properly and efficiently from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to frequent site checks, confirming job readiness, determining equipment rental needs, job mobilization, verifying job materials, creating work orders, giving proper job instruction, knowing staff skillsets, assisting the scheduler to staff jobs properly, helping installers problem solve issues in real-time, push install crews to meet deadlines, setting daily goals and install expectations with crews, efficiently communicate job updates to office staff, fleet management (ensure vehicles are tidy, clean, and respected), tool management ( ensuring company property is tracked and respected), and safety management (such as using programs like hammer tech). You will be expected to help allocate job durations when not provided customer deadlines. If scheduled tasks fall behind, you will be expected to work with the scheduler on staffing overtime and weekend staff to meet deadlines as needed. The install manager will be willing to take personal accountability for all install crew activity.

Qualifications
- 10 years management experience and 5 years plus experience in welding, structural steel erection, and ornamental iron work (Structural Columns, Structural Beams, Deck Rails, Stair Rails, Man Gates, Vehicle Gates, Motorized Vehicle Gates, Trash Enclsoures, Canopies, Pergolas, Carports, Fencing etc.)
- Experience with taking full responsibility for effectively communicating expectations of work quality and pace to employees on site
- Safety Management, ability to submit safety documents through customer portals as needed. Ensure crew members are working safely and following OSHA guidelines
- Ability to multitask and manage up to 8 job sites per day
- Ability to generate pick plans for crane work
- Ability to create JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) forms for each scheduled install event taking place at job sites
- Ability to problem solve in real time and come up with efficient solutions
- Proficient in reading construction drawings and plans
- Ability to aid drafter with drawing review, provide feedback and input to make work more efficient and cost effective for the company

- High level of discernment and the ability to communicate the reason to support your decisions and know when/who to involve when changes and problems arise
- Fleet Management, making sure installers respect company property and keep vehicles clean and organized.
- Tool management, ensure any large equipment that is handed out for install work is returned to shop in good working condition when jobs are complete.

Certifications & Licenses:
Because this position requires travel, the employee:
- Must have a valid drivers' license
- Must be able to be insured on the company's insurance policy as a driver for the company
- Must already have or be able to complete requirements for OSHA 30 certification
- Certified Welder or once certified in Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux-Core
