Job description

STI Consulting and Testing Group delivers comprehensive Non-Destructive Testing [NDT] inspectionservices, supported by our advanced Inspection Management System [IMS],a powerful data management platform designed for the oilfield, refining,aerospace, and pipeline industries.
Our team of Inspectors are ASNT Level II Certifiedacross all major NDT Methods, specializing in welding construction and fabricationfor the oil and gas, refining, and petrochemical sectors.
With many years of industry experience, STI combinescutting-edge technology with highly skilled personnel to ensure everyinspection meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and safety.We are committed to providing clients with confidence that their projects areinspected and tested to the highest quality of service in the industry.
Locations: Broussard La. & Houston Area
Minimum Requirements:
  • Level II Inspector certified in RT, PT, MT, PT, UTT
  • At least 1 year of experience as certified ASNT Level II
  • Must have Documented NDT training & OJT experience, proficient in computer usage, certified NDT methods, crew management, DOT shipping requirements, & NDT reporting and quality standards
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, TWIC card, & State or IRRSP radiographer card.
  • Must have at Minimum high school diploma and/or equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Level I/II must possess qualified 40 Radiation Safety certification or proof of such training (IRRSP acceptable)
  • Must be able to pass a physical, NRC background check, and drug screen.
  • Adherence to OSHA and NRC safety requirements and quality awareness

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
  • Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling.
  • Moving, carrying, lifting, objects in excess of 50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve issues as they arise
  • Must have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a variety of NDT required inspections to ensure quality or to detect discontinuities (defects) and report findings to clients.
  • Performing NDT with proper method procedures and other operations.
  • Set up and utilize Non-destructive Test Equipment
  • Assist in reporting inspection results and maintain paperwork to provide traceability
  • Monitor, as well as train, Level I inspectors and inspection helpers
