The core responsibilities of this role include: Scheduling and assigning drivers to delivery routes, coordinating deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensuring compliance with customers requirements, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, maintaining a pool of independent contactor drivers and recruit new contractors as necessary, manage billing and driver settlements daily utilizing eCourier software, preparing and submitting reports for clients and management, attending weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed, conducing meetings with independent contractors to address performance and concerns, cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations

Position: Logistics Coordinator
Shift: 1st Shift Monday thru Friday 7am-4pm (subject to change) May have to work a couple hours on Saturday's
Pay: $52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year + OT (Salary non-exempt)

In addition to the general job description above, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Excellent people and communication skills, Customer service experience (retail and restaurant are good fit), Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), strong ability to multitask, and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience in logistics and customer service, ability to work On-Call, attention to detail and time management skills
