Job description

Job Summary:
The Powersports Parts Sales Associate at Scranton Auto Group is responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales of powersports parts at our dealership in Vernon, Connecticut. This is a full-time, hourly sales position in the powersports industry where you will be interacting with customers and helping them find the right parts to enhance their powersports experience. As an individual contributor, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on our sales and contribute to the success of the dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $30 per hour, paid weekly

The benefits package includes medical insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Additionally, you will have access to employee discounts on powersports products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Identify and explain different parts and accessories for powersports vehicles
- Recommend and upsell related or complementary parts and accessories to customers
- Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Keep the parts department clean and organized
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product releases
- Collaborate with the service department on parts and accessories needed for repairs and maintenance
- Meet and exceed sales goals and targets
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sales experience in the automotive or powersports industry is preferred
- Knowledge of powersports vehicles and their parts and accessories
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems and point of sale software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work Saturdays
