Our strategy is to be digitally driven, industry-aligned, and focused on the middle market.

As our firm expands its presence in the Greater Boston market, we have an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished tax partner to join our Private Client Services (PCS) team. In this highly visible leadership role, you will serve high-net-worth individuals, family business owners, entrepreneurs, and family offices, guiding them through the full continuum of their financial lives, from wealth creation and business succession to multi-generational estate planning and fiduciary stewardship.

You will lead and mentor a dedicated client service team while leveraging your existing network of relationships, and cultivating new ones, to expand the practice. This role demands not only deep technical command across individual, trust, estate, and entity taxation, but the interpersonal acuity to serve as a trusted, long-term advisor to clients navigating complex and often highly personal financial decisions.

  • Advise clients on estate and gift tax planning, charitable giving strategies, asset protection, business succession, and wealth transfer, with a multigenerational perspective
  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, serving as a mentor and role model for technical excellence and client service
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships through your professional network, referral sources, and collaborative engagement with other firm leaders
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients with complex, cross-functional needs, coordinating with attorneys, investment advisors, and other professionals to deliver a seamlessly integrated advisory experience
  • Contribute to the growth of the Boston PCS practice through business development, thought leadership, and community visibility

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license required
  • Substantial experience in private client taxation within a large local, regional, or national public accounting firm, with demonstrated expertise across individual income tax, fiduciary taxation, estate and gift tax, and pass-through entity structures
  • Experience serving high-net-worth individuals, family business owners, entrepreneurs, and/or single- or multi-family offices
  • Familiarity with international tax considerations for private clients, including foreign trusts, cross-border asset reporting, and U.S. tax obligations for citizens abroad, is a plus
  • Proven business development capability and an established network of referral relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the presence and discretion demanded by ultra-high-net-worth client relationships
  • Strong leadership and staff development instincts; a genuine investment in the growth of others

What you can expect from us:
