Job description

The Mechanical Engineer will perform annual review of Consolidated Water Utilities Management Plan documents to ensure structure and contents are aligned with Veteran Health Administration Directive 1061, ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188, CDC Toolkit, Veteran Health Administration Directive 1116(2), and AAMI/ANSI ST 108: 2023 Water for the Processing of Medical Devices. The Mechanical Engineer (PE) will comment on how the plans can be improved and also verify that signatories and stakeholders are performing roles stated in WMP's.
Required Qualifications
  • Must have Active Mechanical PE license in California or Arizona or New Mexico.
  • Must be US citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • VA or healthcare facility experience
  • Licensed in California
  • ASSE 12080, ASPE CPD, or ASHRAE-related certifications
