Job Description: CNC Operator- Uses Gerber cutter to cut patterns on materials.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must maintain Gerber cutter's maintenance and uploads of new patterns.
  • Sometimes, by hand, you will need to trace patterns onto pre-stacked materials. 
  • Organize the kit pieces by part number/boat and stack them onto shelves for the operators.

Inspect all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. 

Keep the work area clean and orderly.

Any other duties as assigned by management.

Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses

Hand Tools- scissors, screw gun, drill, etc.

Knowledge includes but is not limited to:

  • Must be able to use and maintain a vertical knife.
  • Must be able to identify different patterns.
  • Must be able to help unload supply trucks.
  • Be able to read orders and identify parts that are needed to maintain the production schedule.
  • Be able to complete basic installations.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
  • Must be able to work effectively individually or with a team.

Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.

Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.

Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment, including a respirator, when necessary.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.

  • The ability to see details at close range.
  • Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
