Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting schools in the Covington, GA area. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from late July 2026 through May 2027 and offers you the chance to collaborate with a passionate educational team, focusing on student growth and communication excellence.

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to help students achieve their communication goals while you enjoy the balance and fulfillment of a school-based setting. Details about specific assignments will be provided as they become available.

Position Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (both will eventually be required; either one is acceptable to start)
  • Open to licensed SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows; individuals with SLA certification (through GaPSC) are welcome to apply
  • Not accepting SLPAs for this position
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to fostering a supportive and positive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech, language, and communication services to students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure holistic support for each student
  • Document services provided in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions as needed
