Job Summary

As a FX Services Sales Vice President within the Securities Services business, you will be responsible for driving the FX Services Sales growth in outsourced FX products including AutoFX, FX Direct Dealing, Custodian Agnostic FX and Currency Overlay Solutions. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining a book of Institutional clients, maintain and develop relationships, ensuring the highest levels of service and satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across Securities Services, FX Services, Markets and wider banking divisions, partnering closely with Trading, Execution, Product, Operations, Client Service and broader bank Sales and Service teams to drive FX Sales and deliver innovative FX solutions. Critical responsibilities include: account planning, revenue generation, relationship management and client solutioning. You will have the opportunity to influence client behaviour, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to the ongoing success of our FX business.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage book of Institutional Securities Services and Markets clients utilsiing passive outsourced FX products including AutoFX, FX Direct Dealing, Custodian Agnostic FX and Currency Overlay Solutions
  • Drive FX Sales growth engaging Institutional Securities Services and Markets clients and prospects
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and cross selling FX solutions to existing relationships
  • Working with FX Product teams identify, evaluate and present new and innovative FX solutions to existing and prospective clients, tailoring offerings to their needs to ensure the best outcome for our clients and J.P. Morgan
  • Support Securities Services in all RFPs, RFIs and business pitches where FX is required
  • Manage top-tier Securities Services FX client relationships, ensuring optimal service and satisfaction
  • Develop deep relationships with client contacts at all levels of seniority
  • Maintain consistent, high-quality service standards for each relationship, developing appropriate metrics and management reporting.
  • Act as primary point-of-contact for clients on FX, managing day-to-day requests and ensuring the highest standards of FX coverage and client satisfaction, resolving all client queries in a timely manner
  • Retain and grow the existing client base in a highly competitive market, managing pricing negotiations effectively.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with colleagues and pipeline management across regions, presenting current relationship and new business opportunities in sales meetings
  • Provide clients with up to date information on FX markets, industry trends and market updates.
  • Travel regularly to meet clients for Sales engagements and FX relationship meetings
  • Ensure robust controls are in place to support accurate internal set-ups for client relationships in line with contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with wider J.P. Morgan Sales teams and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive FX solutions
  • Partner closely with Trading, Execution, Product, Operations, Client Service and broader bank Sales and Service teams to drive FX Sales and deliver innovative FX solutions 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in Foreign Exchange and solid understanding of global custody
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Knowledge of FX markets, trading, and the trade lifecycle, with strong operational experience
  • Exposure to compliance, legal, risk, Credit and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external.
  • Commercial mindset with proven negotiation and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Highly effective and confident communicator at all levels, with excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem solving, communication and the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads effectively in a high pressure environment, and manage multiple streams of work concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in Custodian related AutoFX, Currency Overlay Solutions, Direct Dealing Sales and operations
  • Experience in developing and implementing innovative FX solutions.
  • Experience in a Sales environment and managing a Sales pipeline
  • Proven track record in managing complex tier 1 client FX or Securities Services relationships
  • Experience with Developed and Restricted Market FX execution and workflow within a Custody environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions to deliver client-focused outcomes.
