Job description

This position practices under the supervision of the Director of Acute & Emergency Services. The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care in the medical/surgical and emergency department. Supports and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights. Provides, prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Join a great team! Full-time 12-hour shift position, working three shifts per week (7:00pm-7:00am).ย  Eligible for night shift differentials.

$7000 Recruitment Bonus available for a FT night shift position.ย ย $2000 after 90 days, $5000 after 1 year!

  • Bachelors degree in nursing preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Nebraska
  • One year experience in acute and/or emergency room setting preferred
  • Experience in providing care to a general population preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or will obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Trauma Nurse Core Class (TNCC) certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
