Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sales, Artistry, and Education Executive based in the Dallas metropolitan area that is passionate about the clean color category and safe, performance driven ingredients. They will be an example and advocate of the ILIA lifestyle and a champion of our in-store presence and client experience. Strong communication skills are critical for this candidate as it will enable them to educate the store teams on our unique point of difference. This position will have a significant impact on our retail sales performance and overall ranking. The Sales, Artistry, and Education Executive will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Central.
This is a Field Sales role that will travel between various retail store locations in Dallas-Fortworth/Metroplex area and the broader Texas region.
  • Train retail store teams on product attributes, ingredients, and application technique; lead by example by displaying ILIA's core values
  • Act as a liaison between ILIA and our retail partners, namely in-store and regional leadership
  • Recruit, lead and develop a strong, results-driven freelance artistry team
  • Analyze & maintain regional sales reports and freelance performance ROI
  • Maintain clear communication with HQ and accounts
  • Calculate and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals for the territory by store
  • Work at the store level to rectify inventory discrepancies and escalate trends to field leadership
  • Understand retailer specific cultures and modify approach to achieve success
  • Plan & execute event activation programs to increase brand presence in critical doors and ensure proper execution
  • Drive business in region through creativity, education, and field strategy
  • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and category
  • Leverage your negotiation skills to secure opportunities to increase brand awareness and visibility in region
  • Maintain a consistent calendar of visiting stores on peak days and working alongside retail employees
  • Upholding the visual standards of ILIA on tester units and gondolas.

  • 3-5 years' cosmetic sales experience in an account executive or management role or as an experienced account coordinator
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Asana; Omni experience a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule - weekends & holidays required
  • Ability to speak to a group, inspire and motivate teams with previous experience managing & developing a freelance team
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive & effective business partnerships
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with high level of energy and motivation
  • Experience or exposure to working with Sephora and ULTA required
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
