Fort Morgan offers a peaceful small-town atmosphere in northeastern Colorado with stunning views of the Great Plains and easy access to outdoor recreational activities. The community provides an excellent work-life balance while being within driving distance of Denver and the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Facility:
This 50-bed hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community with a focus on women's health and obstetric care. The facility offers strong support staff including registered nurses and maintains modern Epic EMR systems to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage from 7am to 7am the following morning
• Handle approximately 15 deliveries per month with general obstetric and gynecologic procedures
• Work in a call-only setting with no trauma designation
• Utilize Epic EMR system with required training modules and virtual training completion
• Serve adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
• Support staff includes registered nurses with general surgery backup available 24/7
• Must be Board Certified OB/GYN or truly board eligible within 0-5 years of residency completion
• Active Colorado license or IMLC required along with active DEA registration
• BLS certification highly preferred and required for credentialing
• Clean malpractice and background history with self-inquiry NPDB report required
• Credentialing timeframe is 60 days standard, 30 days or less for temporary positions
• Must complete EMR training requirements including modules and virtual training prior to start date
• Ongoing coverage available starting August 2026 with 10-15 total shifts per month
• Preferred lodging at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott or Hampton Inn with corporate rates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
