About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Installation Management Command, Fort McCoy, Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security located at Fort. McCoy, Wisconsin.
Position is a TERM Appointment not to exceed six (6) years. May be extended in 1 year increments up to eight (8) years and my be converted to a permanent position without further competition. Must meet requirements to conversion to permanent.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Implementing operating procedures related to safety training exercises and/or activity areas; 2) Enforcing organizational policies and procedures related to range safety, emergency procedures and range maintenance; 3) Operating various automated computer programs; and 4) Utilizing communications equipment such as radio and telephone to make voice contact with personnel who are training on ranges. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Education:Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.Employment Type: OTHER
