Job Description:

Role Overview

The Director of Account-Based Experience (ABX) is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling endtoend ABX strategies that drive measurable demand creation and accelerate account progression across Fluence's priority segments. This role translates account intelligence, buyer insights, and business priorities into orchestrated, always-on experiences that move accounts seamlessly from awareness through pipeline, expansion, and long-term loyalty.

You lead the "what" and "why." You own the strategic architecture of our account-based model, ensuring its alignment to enterprise goals. Your focus is on turning ABX vision into a repeatable, scalable, and globally adopted operating model, not the tactical day-to-day campaign execution.

As the global owner of Fluence's ABX motion, this leader operationalizes account-based strategies across campaigns, engagement programs, and nurture frameworks-ensuring tight alignment between marketing, sales, and customer teams. The Director partners closely with key ABX, Martech, and data vendors to build scalable execution models, optimize tooling, and extend internal capabilities.

A critical aspect of this role is bridging global strategy and local execution-developing centralized ABX frameworks, playbooks, and enablement that empower regional and market teams to implement programs effectively while maintaining consistency, quality, and impact. Through strong governance, vendor collaboration, and hands-on support, this role ensures ABX is embedded into Fluence's enterprise marketing engine worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing the global ABX strategy, frameworks, and experience principles.

  • Defining target account and buying group engagement strategies

  • Designing the architecture for always-on engagement models and lifecycle experiences.

  • Setting standards for personalization, orchestration, and measurement.

  • Enabling markets through strategy, governance, and high-level playbooks.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Strategic ABX Leadership: 8-12+ years in B2B marketing with deep expertise in building and scaling global ABM/ABX strategy, lifecycle marketing, or enterprise demand generation. You have a proven track record of moving from high-level vision to implemented, results-driven programs.

  • Experience Architecture Mindset: A customer-obsessed focus on designing cohesive, multi-touch experiences that feel connected across channels and lifecycle stages, not just a series of disconnected campaigns.

  • Global Operating Model Builder: You excel at creating the frameworks, playbooks, governance, and enablement that empower regional teams to execute consistently while retaining local relevance and agility.

  • Data-Informed Decision Making: You are highly adept at using account intelligence, intent data, and performance analytics to guide segmentation, prioritize efforts, and demonstrate the impact of your programs on pipeline and revenue.

  • Cross-Functional Influence & Partnership: You are a natural change agent, highly effective at partnering with and influencing senior leaders across Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to activate and sustain ABX programs.
