As the Assistant Manager, you will:

· Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations, health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA and any other appropriate regulations required for the legal operation of the business.

· Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.

· Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® “culture” of a cheerful and fun work environment and Firehouse Subs® beliefs and values to adhere to and grow the mission and vision.

· Ensure the profitability of business by operating within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, inventory, utilities, and sales growth.

· Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.

· Partner with the General Manager for the proper staffing of the restaurant with qualified personnel and employees who are trained and developed properly.

· Be accountable for the continuous training and development of high performing team members

· Partner with the General Manager to ensure all required programs and training are completed on schedule.

· Must be assertive, professional, and sales oriented to grow and maintain catering clientele.

· Must be able to interpret data to optimize staffing to align with peak and off-peak hours.

· Must have experience with tracking, ordering, and maintaining inventory.

· Represent Firehouse Subs® in a professional, positive manner always.

· Communicate effectively to the General Manager/Owner all the issues that may impact the business.

· Any other duties assigned by the General Manager/Owner.

Job Requirements:

· Must have 5+ years of restaurant management experience with increased responsibility.

· Possess a positive can-do attitude; be ready and willing to manage their team and serve customers, every day with a smile.

· Must be able to multi-task and possess organizational skills.

· Be able to hire, train and motivate a high-performance team.

· Understand and able to manage food and labor costs.

· Must be computer savvy and advanced in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Must have a flexible schedule - able to work, days, evenings, and weekends.

· Must have an active SERV Safe Manager certification.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Budget and forecasting skills required.

· Top notch customer service skills.

** Pay rate is based on experience in the industry, certification(s), inventory, reporting, and analytics.
