Job description

We are seeking a Structured Cabling + Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! You will install Cat 6, fiber, fire alarm wiring, security systems, CCTV systems, and other low voltage systems.

Requirements:

  • Live within a reasonable distance of our main office in zip code 27617
  • Be able to pass an NC Alarm Systems Licensing Board background check
  • Be able to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities:

  • Install pathways and cabling (copper, fiber, coax, etc)
  • Terminate, test and label cabling
  • Install fire alarm devices
  • Install wireless access points
  • Install security systems
  • Install ERCES/BDA systems

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in low voltage construction
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • OSHA 10 preferred but not required - company will pay for training and certification
  • Any industry certs are a plus (BICSI, etc)
