The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Creamery Production Associate with a genuine passion for the dairy industry to assist in the daily manufacturing and processing of our artisanal products. This role is ideal for a proactive learner who is eager to jump into new challenges, grow their technical skills, and take pride in executing high-quality recipes within a sterile production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and have an unquenchable curiosity for dairy science, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

  • Batch Production: Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw ingredients according to established recipes for milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, and ice cream.
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate and monitor dairy equipment, including pasteurizers, bottle fillers, and separators.
  • Sanitation (CIP/COP): Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of vats, pipes, and tanks using Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) protocols to meet strict food safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor processing temperatures and times; conduct basic lab tests for fat and solids content to ensure consistent quality.
  • Packaging & Inventory: Package finished goods, apply accurate labeling and date codes, and move stock to cold storage or shipping areas using the FIFO method.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise production logs and regulatory records required by the FDA/USDA or state health departments.


What You'll Need

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in food manufacturingis a strong plus.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Technical Skills: Basic math proficiency for recipe scaling; ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Environment: Comfortable working in varying temperatures (refrigerated storage and hot processing areas) and wet conditions.
  • Certification: Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit or state-specific dairy certification if required by local law.


About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
  • This position requires work to be performed on-site in our facility in Park City, Utah.
