Recycling Coordinator – Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority
Location: Cape May Court House, NJ (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: $71,414 – $108,149 (commensurate with experience)


The Role:

The CMCMUA is seeking a Recycling Coordinator responsible for the
administration of the Authority's Recycling Program and shall serve as the County Recycling
Coordinator for Cape May County. The County Recycling Coordinator shall provide training and
guidance to each Municipal Recycling Coordinator in Cape May County and shall be an
educational resource through outreach programs to county residents, commercial businesses and
civic organizations in proper source separation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college.
  • Minimum of four (4) years professional working experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience in source separation and recycling planning and/or
    management activities is required.
  • Obtain and/or maintain Certified Recycling Professional (CRP) status through the
    NJDEP/ANJR Certified Recycling Professional series of classes and continuing
    education credits.
  • Familiarity with personal computers and experience with office programs such as
    Google, Word, and Excel.
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey Driver's License.

Preferred:

  • At least two (2) years of supervisor experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of local, county, and state government procedures is desirable.

Must reside in New Jersey or attain residency within one year.
