Position Description

At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join the Wiremold team in West Hartford, CT. The Wiremold organization is looking for an experienced Supply Chain leader who can develop people, redesign processes, and modernize how the business operates.

The right candidate will act as a change agent-driving continuous improvement, strengthening supply chain fundamentals, and supporting enterprise system optimization to enable a more efficient and scalable operating model.

What Will You Do?

    Lead and develop the supply chain team, including planning, procurement, inventory, and shipping/receiving functions to drive operational performance.
  • Serve as a key supply chain leader in supporting enterprise ERP (SAP) systems and digital supply chain tools.
  • Redesign and standardize supply chain processes to improve data accuracy, visibility, and execution.
  • Improve production planning, inventory control, logistics, and material flow using Lean and continuous improvement principles.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Quality to align processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Support change management, training, and adoption of new or enhanced systems, tools, and processes.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and drive corrective actions where needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar), with strong understanding of how ERP supports supply chain planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Exposure to system implementations, upgrades, or significant process transformations within supply chain environments.
  • APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) is preferred.
  • SAP 4HANA experience is preferred.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a coaching and development mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with a hands-on, problem-solving orientation.
  • Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and standardized processes.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and influence across multiple functions and organizational levels.
