Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking a certified Epic Beaker AP/CP Build Analyst with 3+ years of hands-on build experience to support laboratory system design, build, and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) workflows, with the ability to translate operational needs into effective system solutions.

This role requires strong collaboration with laboratory stakeholders, clinical teams, and application analysts to ensure stable, efficient, and scalable system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Beaker AP/CP applications in alignment with organizational and operational requirements
  • Collaborate with laboratory leadership and end users to gather requirements and translate them into system build specifications
  • Support implementation and optimization efforts, including workflow analysis, system enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Participate in integrated testing, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Maintain system documentation, including build specifications, workflows, and change control records
  • Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization activities, including on-call support as needed
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including interface, reporting, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless system integration
  • Ensure adherence to Epic best practices, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Epic Beaker AP and/or CP Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of Epic Beaker build experience, including hands-on configuration and optimization
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, including Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology operations
  • Experience with system upgrades, enhancements, and integrated testing cycles
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85.00 to $95.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
