Murphy USA is seeking a DevOps Engineer to focus on the efficient design of infrastructure delivery and automation of services. The role involves deploying and managing Azure cloud-based production systems, ensuring their availability and security, while also suggesting architecture improvements and evaluating new technology options.
Responsibilities:
• Deploy, automate, maintain and manage Azure cloud based production system to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
• Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
• Perform system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process improvements.
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
• Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
• Provide continual service improvement: automate manual implementation tasks across on-premise infrastructure and Azure.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering, CPA, etc.
• 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
