Sterling Engineering is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in the Cleveland, OH area. This opportunity is with a growing engineering firm supporting a variety of projects ranging from moderate to complex scope.
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will support projects from concept through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget requirements are met. This role involves developing process design basis, preparing cost estimates, and working closely with clients and internal teams.

Job Duties:
  • Manage and execute mechanical engineering projects of varying complexity
  • Develop process design basis and prepare cost estimates
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Apply engineering judgment to solve complex technical challenges
  • Coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
  • Interface with clients and support on-site project activities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
  • Ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
