Reports to: VP of Institutional Advisory & ERISA Governance

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm (M-F)

Job Purpose:

As a Client Services Associate, you will provide foundational support to the Relationship Manager team in servicing institutional retirement plan clients. You will assist with data preparation, client communications, meeting logistics, and administrative aspects of plan reviews. This is a learning-oriented role designed to build your knowledge of retirement plans, capital markets, and the consultative service model used to support plan sponsors.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Managers and senior staff across an assigned book of plans.
  • Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, including investment performance reports, committee packets, and supporting exhibits.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, scheduling, and follow-up documentation for plan reviews.
  • Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and assist with routine data entry, validation, and reporting.
  • Respond to basic client inquiries and route more complex questions to the appropriate team member.
  • Support participant-level requests and coordinate with recordkeepers as directed.
  • Build foundational knowledge of plan administration, ERISA compliance basics, and capital markets concepts through on-the-job learning and structured study.
  • Complete required licensing and certification milestones on the timeline established with your manager.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned or requested by management.
Work Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience; entry-level role open to recent graduates and early-career professionals.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Required Licenses and Credentials:

  • NAPA 401(k) Practice Builder or NAPA Introduction to Retirement Plans Certificate (IRP) within the first 6-12 months of hire
  • Series 65 desired but not required

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic data tools
  • Familiarity with fi360, Relius Administration, or PensionPal
  • Internship or coursework related to financial services, retirement plans, or investments
