Job description

Residential Account Specialist - Multifamily Homes Program
Location: Baton Rouge, Monroe, Lake Charles, LA (Field-Based with Local Travel Required)

As an Account Specialist, you will support residential utility programs, working closely with the client and ICF's implementation team, to bring energy efficiency and bill savings to their customers in Louisiana.
An Account Specialist will gain exposure to various types of energy efficiency projects and typically provides account management, trade ally/service provider management, and other technical services for a utility energy efficiency program and their stakeholders. In this role, you would be responsible for participation requirements, innovative reporting, and analysis, conducting market research, and facilitating communications and coordination across a Residential Trade Ally/Service Provider (TA) network throughout Louisiana.

What you will be doing:
  • Reviewing and approving projects submitted by participating trade allies.
  • Perform desktop and field QA/QC to validate technical project data for weekly processing, ensuring compliance with requirements and process controls
  • Coach and train Trade Allies and internal support team members on best practices, audit resolutions, and technical subject matter
  • Support the reporting team to assemble and provide reports, presentations and database management using many MS Office programs along with industry-specific software tools.
  • Build and maintain in-person relationships with Louisiana Trade Allies, local/state efficiency non-profit programs, sub-contractors, and industry associations.
  • There will also be opportunities to attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote and represent the program offerings
  • Stay informed on local, state and federal energy efficiency programs and evaluate how these programs can benefit current offerings.
  • Stay informed on industry news, updates, and trends.
  • Travel Requirements: Must have reliable vehicle for local travel of 20-30%% of the time in the region (reimbursement for mileage provided)

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
  • 2+ years of professional work experience; preferably in utilities, energy efficiency, construction or trades
  • Must have valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

What we would like you to have (preferred):
  • Experience and knowledge of residential energy efficiency
  • Experience working with non-profits a plus
  • Experience working in or managing a trade ally/service provider network
  • Certified Energy Manager or BPI credentials a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$60,940.00 - $103,598.00
