Job description

Stable Company | Owner-Led | Long-Term Career

If you’re an HVAC technician looking for a place to settle in, be respected, and work without chaos, this may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

About the Company

We are a 29-year, owner-led HVAC company with steady growth and a reputation built on doing things the right way. This is not a revolving-door shop and not corporate or private-equity owned. Decisions are made locally, quickly, and with technicians in mind.

Our team is small by design, stable, and experienced:

  • Average technician tenure: 8 years
  • Longest-tenured tech: 24 years
  • Turnover: Voluntary only

People stay here because they’re treated fairly, supported when things go wrong, and expected to do quality work—not rushed work.

What Working Here Feels Like

Our culture is family-style and hands-on. The owner works directly with the team, problems are handled by finding solutions—not assigning blame—and expectations are clear.

We value:

  • Integrity and honesty
  • Following procedures that make the job easier
  • Respect for technicians’ time and experience
  • Calm, professional workdays—not constant fire drills

Overview: We are seeking an entry-level HVAC Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance, service, installs and light repairs on residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. No experience required – we will train motivated candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Help perform basic preventive maintenance (filter changes, cleaning coils, checking thermostats, etc.).
  • Support senior technicians with troubleshooting and repair tasks.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Complete basic documentation on work performed using company systems.

Qualifications:

  • No HVAC experience required; trade school or related training is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn, follow directions, and work as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Able to work indoors/outdoors in various weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (if driving company vehicle).

Schedule:

Full-time; may include occasional overtime and on-call rotation as training progresses
