Job description

Mailroom Clerk

We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk to deliver mail and packages on foot to various departments within our office building. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing outbound FedEx and UPS shipments. This is an entry-level position, and no prior experience is required. However, the ideal candidate will be able to provide a high level of customer service, be reliable, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

This direct hire role Mail Delivery - Full-Time. Hours will range within M-F 7:00AM- 6:00PM.

  • Maintain a clean and organized mailroom area
  • Tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Job requirements include access to reliable transportation to and from work, high school diploma or GED - college degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management, professional appearance and demeanor, Windows environment PC skills, ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment, lifting up to 55 pounds; walking, sitting, standing for extended periods, excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels, reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
