Summary

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for supporting new patient onboarding by coordinating with internal departments such as pharmacy, referrals, and marketing. This role ensures patient needs are addressed efficiently and that onboarding is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The Enrollment Specialist will also engage with patients through approved communication platforms, providing clear and professional support. This position reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager.

This is an outstanding entry-level position for those who are at ease offering support to clients/patients through phone and chat. We offer thorough training and mentorship, and we seek candidates with excellent customer service abilities and a drive to learn.

Schedule Details
  • Locations: On-Site, Laguna Hills, CA.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 hours between 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM (training schedule may differ from assigned shift)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage new patient accounts and relationships
  • Troubleshoot and resolve patient/customer issues
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure efficient patient onboarding
  • Handle all tasks related to the onboarding of new patients
  • Recognize when to escalate calls or concerns to a supervisor
  • Engage new customers through various platforms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex issues clearly
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with peers, business units, compliance professionals, and external partners
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare environment (internship, volunteer is definitely acceptable).
