Job description

About Chai Discovery
Chai is a research lab working on AI to unlock biology. Our models design new molecules for new medicines. We are changing how biologists develop drugs, just as language models are changing how engineers write code. Our vision is a design suite for molecules, with applications across life sciences, agriculture, materials and beyond.
Our founders have been at the forefront of this field from the beginning. We are backed by Thrive, General Catalyst, OpenAI, Dimension and other tier-one investors. We partner with global life sciences companies like Eli Lilly on deals that are transforming industry.
We are known for talent density, rigorous research and pace of execution.
About this role
We are building out our founding partnerships team and looking to make a few key hires to anchor the effort.
Nothing is more important to our business than the success and growth of our partnerships, and that kind of responsibility is exactly what the right person will be eager to assume. You will do whatever it takes to ensure our partnerships are healthy and that Chai exceeds expectations.
You'll team up with phenomenal scientists to push forward multiple concurrent programs, accelerating time to clinic at an unprecedented rate. And you will emerge as a trusted thought partner, helping your counterparts fundamentally rethink their operating model in an era of AI.
You'll also be synthesizing what you learn into actionable intelligence for the rest of the company, helping us shape our product and our future. It will be a lot of fun, a lot of work, and extraordinarily rewarding.
About you
We index on outlier resourcefulness, integrity and execution. You sweat the small stuff, you value relationships, you hold timelines, and you keep everyone on the same page-without ever dropping balls. We can count on you, and so can our partners.
We value scientific and biopharma experience, and we are also more than willing to make a bet on exceptional people with translatable skills. Low-ego, high-EQ, motivated and mission-driven is what we're looking for.
We offer
The opportunity to work at the frontier of AI, with world-class people, on a mission that matters. We protect & promote a culture of high velocity and ownership. We offer highly competitive compensation.
