Apprentice Lineman Opportunities

Primoris Power Delivery is seeking motivated, safety-focused individuals interested in beginning a long-term career in the power delivery industry as an Apprentice Lineman supporting projects throughout the Tampa Bay area and surrounding areas. Opportunities may be available in both overhead and underground operations.

Recent graduates of accredited lineworker training programs are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist crews with the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical systems
  • Perform apprentice-level duties under the direction of experienced crew leadership
  • Safely operate hand tools and equipment
  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work outdoors in various weather and field conditions
  • Travel to job sites as needed
  • Maintain a strong attendance record and positive attitude
  • Support crew members in completing daily work safely and efficiently
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a lineworker training program preferred
  • Previous apprenticeship hours are a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including federally compliant FMCSA drug and alcohol testing
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and materials associated with linework construction and maintenance
  • Ability to perform climbing, rigging, pole setting, conductor handling, and basic maintenance activities
  • Rubber goods are provided by the company
  • Other duties as assigned
