About Edgemine

Edgemine is a leading womens fashion company based in Los Angeles, designing and manufacturing contemporary apparel for major retailers and brands. With a global production network and multiple brands under our umbrella, we operate at the intersection of creativity and operational excellence.

Enjoy standout, industry-leading benefits including company-covered health insurance, a 401(k) match, daily lunches, and early Friday afternoons. Be part of a fun, team-oriented culture with events, perks, and generous time off. Grow your career with hands-on industry experience and real opportunities for advancement.

Role Overview

We're looking for a driven, relationship-first Specialty Sales Manager to own and grow our specialty wholesale channel across the apparel market. This is a high-impact role for someone who lives and breathes wholesale - someone who knows the buyers, understands the sell-through game, and can open doors that stay open.

You'll work across specialty retailers, boutiques, and key wholesale accounts, developing the strategies and partnerships that fuel our next chapter of growth. If you have existing relationships in the specialty channel and a track record of building books of business in apparel wholesale, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze seasonal sell-through data and regional market trends to pinpoint specific "white areas" or territories where the brand is currently underrepresented, translating insights into prioritized outreach strategies.
  • Lead pre-show strategy for major events like MAGIC by identifying high-potential prospects and tracking real-time conversion metrics during the show.
  • Conduct regular performance audits to identify "missed" sales opportunities, including dormant accounts and declined orders, to develop targeted re-engagement plans.
  • Generate weekly and seasonal sales reports to highlight top-performing styles versus slow-movers, providing data-backed insights and delivering forward-looking recommendations to the design and production teams.
  • Perform strategic business reviews with key specialty accounts to analyze inventory levels and suggest data-driven re-orders that maximize their retail performance.
  • Partner with internal operations teams to ensure sales data is accurately captured in the ERP system, improving the speed and accuracy of future inventory forecasting.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and boutique buying patterns to proactively adjust sales strategies and capture shifting market share in the contemporary apparel space.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales pipeline with a focus on organized follow-up and documentation, leveraging CRM automation and AI tools to ensure no lead or account detail is overlooked; deliver regular sales forecasts and data-rich business updates to leadership that support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 36 years of wholesale or specialty sales experience in apparel or fashion, with a proven track record of building and growing a wholesale account base
  • Ownership of comprehensive process documentation and organizational workflows, underpinned by strong project management skills and provide persistent follow-up to ensure successful delivery.
  • Proven ability to map current business needs to system requirements with a focus on future-proofing operations and proactive long-term planning.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and cross-functional agility when working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Some travel may be required
  • Preferred: Experience in women's contemporary, activewear, or lifestyle apparel segments and established buyer relationships at Nordstrom, specialty boutique groups, or off-price channels

Benefits

  • Wellness:PPO health insurance (medical, dental, vision), covered 75% by company. Life Insurance covered 100% by company.
  • Financial Well-Being:401(k) plan with 100% company match up to 4%.
  • Convenience:Daily lunch meals provided.
  • Time Off:Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days.
  • Culture:holiday parties, sample sales, and team-building events.
  • Alternative Schedule: M-T from 8:30AM-6PM, and half-days on Fridays.
