Job description

The Loss Prevention Specialist performs some investigation, clerical duties related Loss Prevention. The position includes data entry, posting on accounts and working with Centrix, Fraud cases, disputed claims, and answering Loss Prevention calls.

  • Pull daily reports and alerts - analyze data and file reports
  • Answer member and staff phone calls, resolve issues within guidelines
  • Report fraud on credit & debit card files
  • Update database with plastic card claims in Fraud Tracking
  • Assist with faxing of documentation for chargebacks
  • File Cuna Claims when required
  • Working with disputed cases within Centrix
  • Process Verifin cases
  • Process E-Oscars
  • Working within the BSA guidelines
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Two years of prior financial services and plastic card experience.
  • Prior Fraud or Loss Prevention experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Some Saturday work required
  • Bilingual Preferred (Spanish)
