Job description

As a Room Attendant at The EDDY Taproom & Hotel, you are part of a dynamic and dedicated team that is empowered to provide exceptional cleaning service in our guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. You will work closely with others who, like yourself, are fully committed to ensuring the hotel is consistently clean, warm, welcoming, and comfortable.
We are offering a $1K signing bonus to applicants who are hired on in Full Time capacity! Must consistently work Full Time hours and be in good standing to earn $500 after 90 days & $500 after 180 days.


Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Enjoy working in a fast pace environment while having an impeccable eye for detail
  • Share your passion and knowledge to ensure completion of all cleaning and organizational responsibilities
  • Responsible for safety, cleanliness, sanitation, replenishment, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping linen, storage closets, guest pantries, and public areas
  • Utilize the freedom to go above and beyond and take initiative to resolve any service related matters while creating guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure guests needs are being met
  • Report to Housekeeping Supervisor and consistently communicate status of rooms to front desk
  • Diligently work with cleaning agents and equipment used in guestrooms and public spaces while following specific housekeeping processes

  • Flexibility and Availability - this is a demanding business and we look for team members who are available that can be flexible and understanding with hours, shifts, holidays, weekends, and workload expectations
  • Experience - previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred
  • People Person - we expect each of our team members to be warm, engaged, and friendly with guests ensuring they receive a personable and positive experience
  • Great Communicator - providing amazing experiences requires the ability to understand and communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing
  • Team Player - having a group mindset, dedication to the goals of the team and hotel, ability to work well with others, and willing to own the job and tasks at hand
  • Passion - to go above and beyond, serve others, and do all things with excellence
PREFERRED
  • Boutique hotel experience preferred
  • High school or equivalent education
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate any necessary office equipment that pertains to your department.
