Job description

Overview
The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the country! We do this by delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, employees, partners, and communities-treating everyone like family. This position is on-site and reports to our Bowie, MD branch.
Join Our Team as a Service Manager of Additional Services! We're looking for a hands-on leader to guide a team of Additional Service Technicians providing specialty pest solutions like termite control, mosquito treatments, wildlife removal, and insulation services. Our ASM will provide training, ensure quality, and keep our customers' homes and businesses pest-free.
Responsibilities:
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and develop Additional Service Technicians through structured field training, ongoing coaching, and performance management.

  • Lead quality control and safety efforts by conducting ride-alongs, auditing service tickets, inspecting trucks and equipment, and ensuring compliance with company standards and state and local regulations.

  • Own customer experience for Additional Services by auditing customer accounts, resolving service issues and complaints, reviewing online feedback, and administering coaching or documentation as needed.

  • Support revenue and service effectiveness by educating technicians on sales assist opportunities, identifying additional service needs, and partnering closely with Sales, Field Managers, and the General Manager.

  • Manage operational systems and assets including inventory, chemicals, equipment, GPS and driving data, and service route efficiency.

  • Support service delivery by completing routes as needed, responding to high priority or emergency jobs, and assisting technicians in the field.

  • Maintain operational and financial accountability by completing incident reporting, adhering to assigned budgets, submitting expenses, and participating in weekly key manager meetings.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

  • 1+ year of pest control experience and prior management experience in the service industry.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role. Driving record must meet the company's insurance standards.

  • Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

  • This position offers an annual pay of $60,000 to 70,000with additional compensation opportunities.
