Litehouse Foods is seeking an experienced and people-focused Operations Manager to help lead our manufacturing facility. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll oversee daily manufacturing, scheduling, and warehouse operations while partnering closely with plant leadership to deliver results in safety, quality, service, and cost. What You Will Do
  • Lead manufacturing, scheduling, and warehouse operations to achieve key performance goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency
  • Build an engaged, accountable culture focused on continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence
  • Monitor production, quality, financial, and operational performance metrics while implementing solutions to improve results and reduce costs
  • Champion safety and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Litehouse standards while correcting issues proactively
  • Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and other departments to improve equipment, processes, communication, and workflow
  • Support and advance continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, 5S, OEE, and cross-training programs to strengthen operational flexibility
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering strong employee relations and leadership development
  • Provide leadership support across shifts, including occasional off-shift visibility and after-hours support as needed

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training/experience
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs preferred
  • HACCP, SQF, and food safety knowledge or experience strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to create accountability and lead by example
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement practical solutions
  • PCQI, HACCP, and/or SQF certifications preferred upon hire
