Wagalicious Walks, LLC is looking for responsible, caring and fun-loving individuals who genuinely love dogs to join our team of dedicated pet care providers! This position requires a commitment to ensuring the happiness and well-being of our furry clients.  This is a year-round part-time position, Monday-Friday approximately 10 am - 2 pm 
Who is Wagalicious?
Wagalicious Walks is a growing provider of outstanding dog walking and pet-sitting services. Our focus is on the safety and well-being of the animals in our care—and of our great people who care for them. We offer the highest level of service possible to our clients in Framingham, Natick, Sherborn and the surrounding communities. 

As a Wag Walker, you'll work with dogs of all sizes and personalities, enjoy ample time outdoors and stay physically active. This role is ideal for those seeking part-time midday work, such as retirees, stay-at-home parents, or students and individuals with evening jobs. Additionally, there are options for dog boarding and overnight care.

Job Description

  • Walk clients dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being during the outing.
  • Monitor dog play groups, and transport dogs as needed
  • Take dogs on off-leash adventure walks
  • Pick up and dispose of dog waste and clean up accidents(they happen!)
  • Provide water, food and medication as needed
  • Care for cats and other small pets
  • Communicate with pet owners about their pet’s behavior and any concerns that arise during walks
  • Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pets’ needs
  • Ensure timely arrival for scheduled walks and maintain a professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • Available year-round Monday-Friday approximately 10 am - 2 pm and occasional holidays and weekends
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Able to commute to Framingham, Ashland, Natick, Sherborn and surrounding communities
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Comfortable handling most dog breeds, sizes and temperaments (previous experience working with dogs a plus)
  • Must have a working smart mobile phone
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings 
  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
  • Highly organized, dedicated and trustworthy
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Must be physically able to walk dogs of various sizes and energy levels
  • High school diploma or GED required; college education a plus
