Reports To: Senior Manager, Communications
Base Salary Range: $90 - 95k (Final compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications)
This role requires a full-time onsite presence in Durham, NC

Job Summary: The OEM Communications Associate plays a key role in supporting IONNA's growing communications function. This position helps coordinate communications aligned with our eight OEM partners, supports messaging surrounding joint initiatives, and ensures consistent and timely delivery of information across internal channels. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented communicator who excels at coordination, relationship management, proactive planning & follow-up & follow through.
You'll be the eyes and ears of the communications team. Tracking what's coming, what's changing, and what needs attention across partners. This role is highly trusted and relied on to flag & action critical timelines and key moments early for the head of communications, keeping everything on track. We're looking for someone who's detail-driven and proactive. Someone who gets it right the first time.
Key Responsibilities:
OEM Communications Support
  • Track, and prioritize OEM communications requests, ensuring timely responses and alignment with IONNA communications strategy.
  • Manage detailed communications calendars for all OEM partners, ensuring consistent, accurate, and coordinated IONNA messaging.
  • Maintain shared files, templates, and documentation to support efficient cross-partner communication.
  • Support cross-functional communications projects and help ensure consistent messaging across teams.
  • Support IONNA public engagement efforts through hands-on coordination and logistics
  • Oversee usage and scheduling of IONNA assets across all eight OEMs.
  • Assist with product seeding, sample fulfillment, and other promotional initiatives to help build awareness and visibility for IONNA.

Mission & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Facilitate member OEMs to promote IONNA in their comms channels-
  • Fulfil OEM requests within SLA; 1-3 days
  • On time delivery of marketing assets
  • Disposition of inbound requests

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in communications, project coordination, or partner-facing roles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams or external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage details accurately while seeing tasks through to completion.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with business systems and project tools; quick to learn new platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills (trend and outlier identification).

  • Able to assess and improve processes and workflows, which include reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
