Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator performs a blend of manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of component parts and finished goods. This role verifies and maintains accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments while providing friendly, professional customer service to visitors and callers. The position combines front-desk customer interaction with hands-on warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed accurately, inventory is well managed, and customers receive the correct products in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock records, logs, reports, and related documentation for all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Record goods received and identify, reject, and document damaged, excess, or misdirected items.
  • Review orders for correct part numbers and descriptions to ensure the correct products and parts are ordered and shipped.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Load and ship customer orders according to established procedures and schedules.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of packing materials such as cartons, tape, crates, clamps, and foam.
  • Verify and package parts according to product specifications to prevent damage and avoid shipping defective items.
  • Provide excellent customer service via telephone, email, and in-person interactions on a daily basis.
  • Respond promptly to phone calls and emails requesting parts information or order status updates.
  • Review and troubleshoot customer issues and initiate standard corrective action procedures to resolve problems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when specific items are low or when pending orders will significantly deplete available stock.
  • Help ensure an adequate stock of parts is available to meet customer demand.
  • Keep the parts and stock areas neat, organized, and clean to support efficient operations.
  • Use RF scanners and related warehouse technology to support picking, shipping, and inventory control activities.
  • Support cycle counts and other inventory management activities as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Ability and willingness to learn warehouse operations, including forklift operation, even without prior experience.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and communication.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with customers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong communication skills for telephone, email, and in-person customer support.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing orders, verifying part numbers, and packaging products.
  • Ability to use or learn RF scanners for picking, shipping, and inventory tasks.
  • Capability to perform manual material handling tasks in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping and receiving is beneficial.
  • Experience in inventory control or inventory management is an advantage.
  • Exposure to supply chain or warehouse inventory processes is helpful.
  • Prior experience in customer service, CSR, or call center environments is a plus.
  • Experience performing cycle counts or similar inventory accuracy activities is beneficial.

The environment involves typical warehouse conditions, including handling packaged goods and using tools such as RF scanners and packing materials. Dress expectations align with a professional yet practical setting, suitable for both front-desk customer interaction and light warehouse work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
