BOX OFFICE AGENT

You'll never feel boxed in at our office! We are seeking people with charm, a sense of humor, and the motivation to serve our guests and contribute to the amazing time they spend at our Theaters. People from all over the world visit our Theaters every single night and you (yes you!) will help them have a great time before the show even starts. If you're great at talking and interacting with people, then this opportunity might be a shot you should take.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Provide excellent customer service and work with the box office team to provide the same
  • Assist guests at the box office counter with reservations, new orders, and relevant questions
  • Input all reservations and orders into the in-house ticketing system
  • Collect required paperwork, payment, and/or vouchers for each order
  • Promote upgrades on every order
  • Assist with scanning, ticket taking, and theater check-in for shows
  • Answer customer calls for reservations, new orders, and/or relevant questions at theater box office or corporate call center,
  • Perform ticket auditing function at theater or corporate call center
  • Assist in conflict resolution with guests, escalating concerns to management as needed
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures as needed
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving shows and services
  • Uphold payment handling policy and ensure all revenue is reported properly
  • Collect all paperwork obtained throughout your shift and turn in for auditing at the close of each shift
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of in-house ticketing system, reporting discrepancies and/or misfunction to management
  • Ensure your station is stocked for your shift
  • Assist with line management, ensuring customers are moving through the process at a steady pace
  • Assist with fraud detection with guests and immediately report any findings to management
  • Participate in company training sessions
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:

  • Prior experience working with an electronic ticketing system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers

  • Experience working in a high-pressure, high-volume environment

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of proven experience in a box office, ticketing, or concierge position
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Experience working with an electronic ticketing system
  • 1+ years of ticket auditing experience preferred

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work environment: In-person entertainment venue setting
  • Must be able to stand/walk throughout the work shift
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques
  • Specific vision abilities required due to viewing computer terminals and company data
