ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring a Contracts and Finance Project Manager to support an DoD client. As the Project Manager, you will act as a primary liaison with senior Government stakeholders, addressing workforce concerns, mitigating risks, and aligning staffing solutions with evolving mission needs. Our core value of Dependability will be paramount to this role as you will be the primary point of contact helping understand evolving government client needs and aligning support staff activities.

LOCATION

Vienna, VA (On-site)

WHO YOU ARE

  • Active Public Trust or higher clearance (or have the ability to obtain one).
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of Ten (10) Years of experience in performing Program Management support services related to financial and acquisitions projects.
  • Hold an active Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC)-Program (P), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) Certification.
  • Excellent computer/reporting skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and other database/project management tracking tools.
  • Federal Acquisition process knowledge/experience
  • Understanding of the Federal acquisition lifecycle from inception of need to contract/program/project completion
  • Strong understanding of Program/Project Management, especially as it relates to the Federal Government.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a primary liaison with Government stakeholders, they address workforce concerns, mitigate risks, and align staffing solutions with evolving mission needs.
  • Be a trusted advisory to government clients as it relates to acquisitions and financial program management requirements.
  • Oversee contractor personnel and ensure efficient resource utilization.
