Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in coding all unpaid non-purchase order invoices with designated General Ledger numbers.

Assist in entering unpaid and approved invoices into HIS accounts payable module.

Assist with the weekly check runs.  Performs the daily deposits in a back-up capacity as needed.

Process weekly check run of approved invoices for all accounts including Umpqua and CPS on a backup basis.

Assist with vendor statement audits for missing or unpaid invoices.

Assist with the preparation and distribution of year end 1099 forms to all current and former vendors.

On a weekly basis, complete filing of all invoices.

Cross-trained and able to produce a full payroll run at least once every quarter.

Other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department and organizational performance in accordance with Curry Health Network’s Mission, Vision and Shared Values.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience is preferred.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to use personal computer for word processing, data entry, and automated time systems; experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy regarding time and organizational management. Requires multi-tasking and the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with staff and management.
