Job Summary
The Box Office and Guest Relations Associate, under the supervision of the Box Office and Guest Relations Manager, is responsible for the oversight of daily ticketing transactions for on-site box offices and online platforms. Responsible for proper accounting practices associated with all box office transactions. Provides customer service for patrons; in-person, over the phone and online. Provides administrative oversight in the tracking and accounting of all financial matters in the box office and guest relations areas. Assists the Box Office and Guest Relations Manager in the daily operations of the box office and with the staffing and operations of the guest relations team. Works on the guest relations on-site team for live events. Handles administrative duties throughout the department as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Three years general administrative experience with focus on finance, customer relations, operational support, or related focus.
  • High degree of customer relationship building and service experience. Accounting/cash handling experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and customer support.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, databases, and basic math skills
  • Ability to file, edit, proofread, manage/track data and follow office procedures.
  • Must have the ability to work independently under pressure, pay close attention to detail and deal with a variety of people.
  • Ability to supervise, train and direct student staff.
  • Flexibility to work evening/weekend hours and/or long days, as needed.
