Job description

As a part of Nothing's growth strategy, with our accelerating retail store growth globally, we are hiring a Director of Business Development, based in San Francisco, a strategic, highly-motivated, and results-driven individual.

Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will be responsible for architecting, identifying, developing, negotiating and executing partnership strategies that directly impact the operation and revenue of our business. You will represent Nothing's values and commitment to the technology & young generation, ensuring that all partnerships align with our core principles. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute meaningfully to the unconventional growth of Nothing.

Experience on strategic commercial partnerships and revenue-driven business development with cross-industries practices are an important part of this role.

What You'll Do
  • Architect business development growth strategies including commercial frameworks for cross-brand/industry/market adoption - e.g. strategic partnerships for bringing Nothing product as  tech-as-a-benefit solution into employees of giant enterprises.
  • Identify and unlock portfolio-level opportunities for cross-brand/industry/market enterprise partners.
  • Drive executive-level engagement and build relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic discussions on commercial partnerships and enterprise corp projects.
  • Identify use cases where innovation unlocks new revenue streams for partners.
  • Elevate internal BD capabilities including partner with product, marketing and commercial teams to build growth roadmaps and turn mature & emerging products into enterprise adoption pathways.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Monetized value from strategic commercial partnerships and vertical GTM projects.
  • Cross-brand/industry/market expansions within global-level partners.
  • Executive-level stakeholder relationships established.

What We're Looking For

  • Required Experience
    • 8+ years in enterprise SaaS, platform, or technology business development
    • Proven success closing complex, multi-product or portfolio deals
    • Experience selling to enterprise digital, innovation, or technology leaders
  • Track record of expanding accounts, not just acquiring logos
  • Hands on contributor, willing to actively create materials as needed for success in the role
  • Strongly Preferred
    • Experience in AI SaaS, digital platforms, or corp gifting solutions
    • Experience in industries such as retail, marketing/creativity, consumer brands, or lifestyle sectors
    • Background in consultative or solution-based selling
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Key Traits
    • Strategic thinker who sees how to build successful enterprise systems, not single deals
    • Strong commercial acumen and deal structuring ability
    • Executive presence and communication skills
    • Comfortable navigating large enterprise organizations
    • Self-starter, excited by a fast-changing business environment
    • Flexible team-player, quick to adapt and mobilize to align with business goals of the organization
    • Able to translate innovation, business insights, and industry trends into business outcomes

Salary Range: $220-300K
