Job description

What we do:
Air Transport International (ATI) is an experienced supplemental carrier with the ability to reach across the globe. ATI is an FAR Part 121 charter airline headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. ATI specializes in freight forwarding, government and military contracts. ATI is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc.

Purpose:
Administrative functions of the Crew Payroll Department, including documenting processes, generating reports and insuring accurate and timely completion.
Job Functions:
  • Analyze Operations reports for increased accuracy for producing payroll to include deductions, computing wage and overtime payments
  • Assist with Human Resources processes that involve payroll - sick, vacation, medical and personal leave, furlough and recall
  • Work with Operations staff to increase database products
  • Document existing processes and innovate and improve them
  • Interface with IT for the development of Operations Systems
  • Per diem/rig calculations and report
  • Implements and maintains payroll systems developed in-house
  • May act as liaison between payroll and systems to ensure documentation of system functions and capabilities and to facilitate the training of payroll staff in the use of the automated system
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent work experience
  • High level of organizational skills and accuracy of data input
  • Ability to delegate duties and instructions to insure task completion
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of Two (2) year experience working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working in an office environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Job Skills:
  • Two (2) years as a Flight Crew Payroll Coordinator or Crew Scheduler
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures of 121and 117 regulations
  • Knowledge of Flight Operations Department

Physical Requirements:
  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
