Role Overview:

Hill’s Pet Nutrition is seeking a highly organized and proactive Creative Project Manager to join our Strategic Creative Services team. This role is the central hub for all incoming creative requests and is critical to the success of our in-house creative team. The Creative Project Manager will be responsible for managing the flow of creative projects, ensuring work is efficiently triaged, assigned, and distributed evenly among our team of designers, copywriters, and video editors. Your expert coordination will ensure that our creative team can produce high-quality work on time and in alignment with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all inbound creative project requests, ensuring briefs are complete and clear before entering the workflow.

  • Manage the trafficking of all creative projects from intake to completion, utilizing our project management tools to monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Strategically assess and assign incoming tasks to the appropriate creative team members, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload across the team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager and creative team leads to understand team capacity and skill sets for effective project allocation.

  • Lead daily or weekly stand-up meetings to track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and ensure the team is aligned on priorities.

  • Communicate project statuses and timelines regularly to key stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve the creative workflow process for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and the Strategic Creative Services leadership to prioritize projects in line with business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within an in-house creative department or advertising agency.

  • 3+ years of experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira, Asana).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working with agile processes and teams

  • Proven experience managing and prioritizing a high volume of creative projects simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
